
Intermediate Reformer + Tower Class
*Previous Pilates Reformer experience required! **If you have never used our reformers before, you must first take an Intro to Reformer Group Class (offered weekly), or an Intro To Reformer private session with any of our instructors to get up to speed. E-mail caryn@beyondfitnesspilates.com to schedule a private. It's not that we don't trust you are fit enough! It's that the reformer has a lot of moving parts, and one newbie really slows down a group class. In this Level 2 class, you'll spend 30 minutes on the Pilates Reformer and 30 minutes doing some combination of Cadillac Tower, Stability Chair, BOSU, TRX, Pilates Arc Barrel and smaller prop exercises. You'll strengthen your core, improve your posture, find your muscle imbalances and correct them. Level 2 classes require familiarity and comfort with all the reformer exercises/ positions. For example, you should know what short spine, standing side splits, short box are). You should be able to stand, kneel, perform box exercises, and transfer positions on the reformer safely and with control. This class moves faster than level 1.
