Founder & Community Steward (and occasional bolster whisperer) Scott didn’t set out to open a yoga studio—he set out to create a space where people could breathe, belong, and be beautifully human. element yoga was born from that dream: a down-to-earth, soul-up kind of place where transformation happens between poses, during awkward giggles, and over post-class tea. While he technically teaches yoga, Scott’s real passion is community. He’s endlessly fascinated by people—their stories, their edges, their breakthroughs—and he’s usually somewhere behind the scenes lighting candles, rearranging props just so, or plotting the next soulful adventure (with a well-timed playlist drop and a dash of glitter). To Scott, element isn’t just a studio. It’s a living, breathing reminder that healing can be playful, presence can be powerful, and we’re all just walking each other home—one breath, one class, one belly laugh at a time. With over 30 years of experience in the wellness and beauty industry—working with top professionals and building nationally recognized success—Scott brings a deep understanding of how to create spaces that feel intentional, nourishing, and truly welcoming. That same “in your element” feeling is now infused into everything from the studio experience to the element wellness spa offerings. Scott is a 500-hour E-RYT certified through Yoga Alliance. His formal training includes a 200-hour certification with Breathe Yoga and a 300-hour advanced training from the Sri Sri School of Yoga in India. He is also a Baptiste Certified Instructor, with over 200 additional hours of training through the Baptiste Institute, studying directly with Baron Baptiste. The Journey Into Power methodology is Scott’s not-so-secret weapon for thriving both on and off the mat—and a guiding light in how he lives, teaches, and leads.
