Lisbeth received her Bikram Yoga teacher Certification in the Fall of 2013 in Los Angeles. Lisbeth feels that Bikram Yoga has changed her everyday life and has helped her in many positives ways. The emphasis on breathing has helped her greatly with her asthma. Since beginning her Bikram Yoga practice, she no longer has to use an inhaler. She credits that to how yoga helped her maintain healthy lungs with the deep breathing exercise. She feels very thankful for this health benefit in particular. Prior to becoming a yoga instructor, Lisbeth was a journalist and photographer focusing on Latin America. She is also a part-time Spanish teacher. Her favorite hobby is ballroom dancing in all forms. She loves the beach, nature and dogs.
