Elizabeth is a Reiki Master/Reiki Master Teacher trained in the Usui System of Natural Healing and Shamanic Reiki. She is also a 100-Hour Certified Meditation Teacher and has a variety of yoga certifications. Like so many of us, Elizabeth aims to create a healthier, more joyful life for herself and for her family, of which reiki, meditation, and yoga have become vital components. She is passionate about teaching others to understand the energetic causes of their current circumstances in order to help them regain a sense of inner authority, peace, and joy. Through her work on herself, family, and countless clients, Elizabeth has seen the miraculous physical and emotional healing that can be achieved through reiki, meditation, and yoga, and she feels it is her life’s purpose to bring this healing to as many people as possible. Before delving into her healing work full time, Elizabeth performed biomedical research and had a 15-year career as a biology teacher at the university and high school levels. She holds a BA in Neuroscience and Behavior from Vassar College, an MS and MPh in Human Pathology Research from Yale University, and an MS in Secondary Science Education. A born teacher, Elizabeth is thrilled to run Jiiva's School of Reiki through which she teaches Reiki I, Reiki II and Reiki Masters courses, in addition to teaching Jiiva's Mindfulness & Meditation Training course. She is honored to welcome you to Jiiva’s lovely community and looks forward to working with you!
